The sports gambling landscape has undergone significant transformation, particularly with the proliferation of online platforms and mobile apps that allow for 24/7 access to betting. The surge in gambling promotions during televised sports events, combined with the growth of casino “sports books,” has normalized betting behavior for many, potentially leading to an increase in problem gambling cases. This webinar highlights the importance of staying updated on these trends, emphasizing the role of technology, regulation, and promotional strategies in shaping modern gambling habits.
The webinar’s objectives are to help professionals recognize and respond to emerging risks in sports gambling by utilizing the T.I.P.S. Tracking framework. Course Objectives:
1) Participants will look at why monitoring trends in sports gambling is critical for compulsive gambling professionals.
2) Participants will be given an in-depth look at current sports gambling trends.
