20th Annual Compulsive Gambling
Awareness Conference
Scholarship Application Procedures


We are happy to announce that we have several full scholarships available for our 20th Annual Conference on Compulsive Gambling on March 14th and 15th, 2019

As of January 1, 2019 the scholarships are sponsored by:

  • The Wisconsin Council on Problem Gambling, Inc.
  • The Wisconsin Lottery
  • Potawatomi Hotel & Casino
  • Menominee Casino Resort
  • Susan Hengst
  • St. Croix Casino

A full scholarship for attendance covers:

  • Registration and materials
  • Breaks and luncheons on both days
  • Awards Banquet on Thursday, March 14th, 2019

We are asking all scholarship recipients to pay $25.00 towards their scholarship. This allows us to offer additional scholarships. (The $25.00 fee is not due until the scholarships are awarded.)

Scholarships do not include the March 13th pre-conference workshops.

Scholarships will be awarded to qualifying applicants based upon financial need, future goals and unique circumstances. Please be sure to include the above information to insure that your application is processed accordingly.

Treatment Providers: Describe your prior gambling-specific training experience, your motivation in working with problem gamblers, and how you intend to use the knowledge gained at this Conference.

Non-Treatment Providers: Describe how this Conference will enhance your own personal and professional growth and development.
